MASTER PISA Master Steve Pisa had taught Martial Arts in Burbank, CA for over a decade before opening the first Academy of Kung Fu school in 2004. His own instructor is the widely respected Premiere Grand Master Don Baird, who in turn was trained by the noted Premiere Grand Master Young Ik Suh.

Great Masters of the past were well rounded individuals who were not only involved in the fighting arts but also the study of healing, writing, music, painting and calligraphy. Master Pisa is no different in that respect.
Areas of his accomplishments include fine arts photography and writing. Master Pisa has many books in the works, not all Martial Arts oriented that are being prepared for publication. With many successes in the past, Master Pisa is far from finished in studying this great art reflecting the unique ability to balance Mind, Body, and Spirit.
It has been a long journey for Master Pisa to open his personal school. But his patience and diligence have rewarded him with currently two wonderful schools that respectfully represents the depth and beauty of his Master's. Carrying on a rich kung fu tradition, Master Pisa guides students through Pyong An Do Won and its profound principles he has devoted so many years to learn.
